I joined VSA in October 2022 and it has been a great journey so far, working with local NGOs, government departments and Kiwi volunteers in building capacity among local Ni-Vanuatu. I’ve learnt so much from the experiences of the skilled volunteers and their local counterparts, and seeing the locals feel more confident and more skilled in doing their jobs is fulfilling.
This journey has also broadened my understanding and awareness of the current situation, challenges, and impacts within our partner organisations and within Vanuatu. It’s been a great privilege to be a part of the VSA family, the process towards development, and seeing the contributions.
I look forward to doing my part in supporting my program manager and volunteers working alongside Partner Organisations in Vanuatu.
