About Our Partner Organisation
The National Referral Hospital (NRH) provides secondary to tertiary health care services. It has 49 departments, mostly covering direct patient care although some are for corporate services and non-clinical public health services. It admits around 14,000 per year and has a nursing education programme.

What You’ll Do
As a VSA Volunteer, you'll immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of the Solomon Islands, aiding and guiding the NRH with the development of systems and procedures for the management of all tangible hospital assets. You will undertake an audit of assets and ensure that systems and processes are in place to manage assets day-to-day as well as life-cycle management and reporting to ensure hospital leadership have full visibility of hospital assets.

Your Skills and Experiences
  • A qualification in Business Administration or Logistics, or experience as an Asset Manager, Stock Controller, Inventory Manager etc
  • Working knowledge of Asset Management/Inventory management software
  • Prior experience of Asset Management audits
  • Experience in development and review of Asset Management policies and procedures
