Ilze worked internationally for over 12 years on infrastructure and environmental projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Her primary focus was on water and sanitation projects, helping to develop sector policy and regulation and improve delivery of water services. She has extensive experience working on Asian Development and World Bank funded projects. In New Zealand, she worked with Watercare, Auckland’s water utility managing engagement with residential and commercial developers. She is currently a Director in KPMG’s infrastructure advisory practice based in Auckland.
Ilze holds a Bachelors in international relations, and Masters in International Law and Diplomacy.
